Terms of Use
Last updated October 17, 2026. Current Remote Jobs is operated by Octavius LLC.
These terms are an agreement between you and Octavius LLC ("we," "us"), the Florida company that runs Current Remote Jobs. By using this site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. What this site is
Current Remote Jobs is a free list of remote jobs open to people in the U.S. A computer program reads employers' public job boards and career sites (most twice a day, some once a day) and shows short facts about each job, with a link to apply on the employer's own site. Some listings are picked by hand, with the help of an AI assistant, from employers' own career sites. Every listing follows the same rules and links to the employer's own site to apply.
We are not an employer, a recruiter, a staffing agency or an employment agency. We do not take applications, pass along resumes, make hiring decisions, or speak for any employer. We never charge job seekers, and we never will.
2. Job listings can be wrong
Listings are gathered and sorted automatically, or added by hand and then checked by the same automatic rules. A job may be closed, changed, or described wrong. Labels like "U.S. remote," state limits, pay, job type, level, category and "License required" are our best reading of what the employer posted. They are not promises.
Always read the full posting on the employer's site before you apply, and confirm pay, location rules and requirements with the employer. We do not promise that any job is real, open, legal, safe, or right for you, or that you will get an interview or an offer.
3. Watch for scams
A real employer will not ask you to pay to apply, buy equipment up front, or send bank details before a written offer. If something feels wrong, stop, and use "Report a problem" on the job card so we can check it. We are not responsible for the actions of any employer or any third party you deal with.
4. Not professional advice
Nothing on this site is legal, financial, tax, immigration or career advice. Notes like "License required" are reminders, not guidance about any license rule.
5. Other websites
Apply links take you to employer sites and to job board services such as Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, SmartRecruiters, Workable and Workday. Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control them and are not responsible for them, including what happens to anything you submit there.
6. Names and trademarks
Company names belong to their owners. We use them only to say who posted a job. A listing does not mean any employer endorses this site, works with us, or knows we exist, and it does not mean we endorse the employer.
7. Using the site fairly
Please use the site for your own job search. You agree not to:
- copy or download the job list in bulk, scrape the site, or build a competing list from it;
- overload, attack, probe or try to get around the site's security or access limits;
- send spam, false reports, threats, harassment, or harmful code through any form;
- use the site for anything illegal.
Sharing a link to the site or to a single job is fine.
8. Feedback and reports
If you send feedback or a report, you let us use it to improve the site without paying you or crediting you. Please do not send private or confidential information, like your Social Security number or health details.
9. The newsletter
The newsletter is optional and free. It is sent through Substack. You sign up on Substack's own page, and Substack's terms and privacy policy apply to your subscription. Every issue has an unsubscribe link.
10. Who can use this site
This site is for adults and people old enough to work in the U.S. It is not meant for children under 13, and children under 13 should not sign up for the newsletter or send us information.
11. Our content
The site's design, code, text, summaries and layout belong to Octavius LLC. Job facts come from employers and belong to them. You may not copy the site's design or code without written permission.
12. No warranty
The site and the newsletter are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise the site will always be up, error-free, or current. We may change, pause, or shut down the site at any time.
13. Limit of liability
The site is free. To the fullest extent the law allows, Octavius LLC and its owners, members and staff will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost wages, lost job opportunities, lost data or lost profits, arising from your use of the site, any listing, any employer, or any third-party site. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about the site is limited to fifty U.S. dollars ($50).
Some states do not allow some of these limits. Where they are not allowed, they apply only as far as the law permits.
14. If you misuse the site
You agree to cover Octavius LLC's reasonable costs, including legal fees, from any claim caused by your misuse of the site or by your breaking these terms.
15. Disputes
If you have a problem with the site, please email support@currentremotejobs.com first. We will try to fix it within 30 days.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute about the site will be handled only in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you agree to those courts' jurisdiction.
16. Other legal terms
If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a part right away, we have not given it up. These terms, the Privacy Policy and the Accessibility page are the whole agreement between you and us about the site.
17. Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page. Using the site after an update means you accept the new terms.
